Another way to treat insomnia naturally is to take a hot bath at least an hour before you're ready for bed.

A nice relaxing massage will also do wonders! If you have your spouse do the massage be sure not to talk about happenings of the day while trying to relax with a massage - that will just backfire. Also, if you get a professional massage, don't talk about anything stressful - just concentrate in relaxing - that's what you're there for!
